PRSS36

Description

The PRSS36 (serine protease 36) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.

PRSS36 is a serine protease that cleaves peptides, with a preference for those containing arginine (Arg) at the P1 position. It efficiently hydrolyzes N-t-Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-AMC and N-t-Boc-Gln-Gly-Arg-AMC, but shows weaker activity towards N-t-Boc-Ala-Phe-Lys-AMC and N-t-Boc-Val-Leu-Lys-AMC.

PRSS36 is also known as -.
