PROSER1

Description

The PROSER1 (proline and serine rich 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

PROSER1 facilitates the interaction between O-GlcNAc transferase (OGT) and TET2, leading to O-GlcNAcylation of TET2. This modification controls the stability of TET2 at enhancers and CpG islands, regions involved in gene regulation.

PROSER1 is also known as C13orf23.
