RSPO1
Description
RSPO1 (R-spondin 1) is a secreted protein that plays a crucial role in regulating Wnt signaling pathways, a complex network essential for embryonic development, tissue homeostasis, and regeneration. Wnt signaling pathways are implicated in numerous cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. RSPO1 acts as a potent activator of Wnt signaling by binding to the LGR4 and LGR5 receptors, amplifying the Wnt response. This interaction has profound implications for various developmental and pathological processes.
