PPP2R3C

Description

The PPP2R3C (protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B''gamma) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.

PPP2R3C, or Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit B'' subunit gamma, is an enzyme encoded by the PPP2R3C gene in humans.

PPP2R3C may regulate MCM3AP phosphorylation through phosphatase recruitment. It might act as a negative regulator of ABCB1 expression and function by dephosphorylating ABCB1 within a complex formed with TFPI2. Additionally, PPP2R3C may play a role in the activation-induced cell death of B-cells.

PPP2R3C is also known as C14orf10, G4-1, G5pr, GDRM, MEGD, SPGF36.
