DNAH10
Description
The DNAH10 gene provides instructions for making a protein called dynein heavy chain 10. This protein is a component of cilia, tiny hair-like structures found on the surface of many cells. Cilia play a crucial role in various bodily functions, including cell signaling, fluid movement, and sensory perception. Mutations in the DNAH10 gene can disrupt cilia function, leading to a range of health issues.
