CWC27
Description
The CWC27 (CWC27 spliceosome associated cyclophilin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.
CWC27 is involved in pre-mRNA splicing as part of the spliceosome. It is a probable inactive PPIase with no peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase activity. As a component of the minor spliceosome, it is involved in the splicing of U12-type introns in pre-mRNAs.
CWC27 is also known as NY-CO-10, RPSKA, SDCCAG-10, SDCCAG10.
