PRAF2

Description

The PRAF2 (PRA1 domain family member 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.

PRAF2 might be involved in the movement of molecules between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus, as well as in the transport of vesicles. It also seems to play a role in programmed cell death (apoptosis) specifically triggered by the drug cerulenin in neuroblastoma cells.

PRAF2 is also known as JM4, Yip6a.
