Description

The PID1 (phosphotyrosine interaction domain containing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

PID1 promotes the growth of preadipocytes (cells that have the potential to become fat cells) without influencing their ability to actually turn into fat cells.

PID1 is also known as HMFN2073, NYGGF4, P-CLI1, PCLI1.
