PHOSPHO2 is a phosphatase that exhibits high activity towards pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP). It also displays activity, albeit at significantly lower levels, towards various other substrates, including pyrophosphate, phosphoethanolamine (PEA), phosphocholine (PCho), phospho-l-tyrosine, fructose-6-phosphate, p-nitrophenyl phosphate, and h-glycerophosphate.
