PGM5

Description

The PGM5 (phosphoglucomutase 5) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 9.

Phosphoglucomutase-like protein 5 is an enzyme produced by the PGM5 gene in humans.

This protein is part of adherens junctions, which are cell-cell and cell-matrix connections. It does not exhibit phosphoglucomutase activity in laboratory settings.

PGM5 is also known as PGMRP.
