PDE1B

Description

The PDE1B (phosphodiesterase 1B) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

PDE1B is an enzyme encoded by the PDE1B gene in humans. It is a calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase.

PDE1B is a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase that hydrolyzes both cAMP and cGMP, acting as a regulator of numerous physiological processes. It exhibits a stronger affinity for cGMP compared to cAMP.

PDE1B is also known as HEL-S-79p, PDE1B1, PDES1B.
