Description

The OSGIN1 (oxidative stress induced growth inhibitor 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.

OSGIN1 regulates cell differentiation and proliferation by controlling cell death. This regulation is supported by several studies (PubMed:11459809, PubMed:14570898, PubMed:15569677).

OSGIN1 is also known as BDGI, OKL38.
