The OR2T33 (olfactory receptor family 2 subfamily T member 33) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.
The OR2T33 gene in humans encodes the Olfactory receptor 2T33 protein, which plays a crucial role in the sense of smell. These receptors are part of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), with each receptor recognizing specific odorant molecules in the nose.
