Description

The SALL2 (spalt like transcription factor 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.

Sal-like protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SALL2 gene.

SALL2 is a probable transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the development of the eye throughout various stages, including before, during, and after the closure of the optic fissure.

SALL2 is also known as COLB, HSAL2, Sal-2, ZNF795, p150(Sal2).
