RCBTB1

Description

The RCBTB1 (RCC1 and BTB domain containing protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

RCC1 and BTB domain-containing protein 1 (RCBTB1) is a human protein encoded by the RCBTB1 gene. It contains an N-terminal RCC1 domain and a C-terminal BTB domain. In rats, over-expression of RCBTB1 in vascular smooth muscle cells leads to cell enlargement. The C-terminus of RCBTB1 interacts with the angiotensin II receptor-1A. The gene is located on chromosome 13q, a region frequently deleted in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia and other lymphoid cancers.

RCBTB1 is also known as CLLD7, CLLL7, GLP, RDEOA.
