Description

The OLFML3 (olfactomedin like 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

Olfactomedin-like protein 3 is a protein encoded by the OLFML3 gene in humans. It functions as a proangiogenic factor in the tumor microenvironment, being released by endothelial cells and pericytes. This gene has also been associated with pectinate ligament dysplasia and glaucoma in Border Collies.

OLFML3 is also known as HNOEL-iso, OLF44.
