NYAP2
Description
The NYAP2 (neuronal tyrosine-phosphorylated phosphoinositide-3-kinase adaptor 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.
NYAP2 activates PI3K, a signaling molecule, and brings the WAVE1 complex, involved in cell shape changes, close to PI3K. This process helps regulate the development of nerve cell structures.
NYAP2 is also known as KIAA1486.
