NUDC

Description

The NUDC (nuclear distribution C, dynein complex regulator) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

Nuclear migration protein nudC is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NUDC gene. NUDC has been shown to interact with PLK1 and PAFAH1B1.

NUDC plays a role in neurogenesis and neuronal migration. It is essential for the proper formation of mitotic spindles and chromosome separation during mitosis. NUDC is also crucial for cytokinesis and cell proliferation.

NUDC is also known as HNUDC, MNUDC, NPD011.
