NR2C2AP

Description

The NR2C2AP (nuclear receptor 2C2 associated protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

NR2C2AP potentially inhibits the activation of genes by NR2C2 (also known as TR4), a nuclear receptor. It does this by interfering with the interaction between NR2C2/TR4 and specific DNA sequences (TR4-response elements) in these genes.

NR2C2AP is also known as TRA16.
