NNAT

Description

The NNAT (neuronatin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.

The Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT) is a nonverbal test used to assess cognitive ability independent of language and culture. It is administered to children in K-12 to identify gifted students and used for admission to some high IQ societies. The most recent version is NNAT3. It was initially developed by Jack A. Naglieri and published by Pearson Education in 1998. The NNAT has replaced the Bracken School Readiness Assessment (BSRA) in New York City, sparking some controversy because some parents find it too difficult.

NNAT is also known as Peg5.
