NASP

Description

The NASP (nuclear autoantigenic sperm protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

NASP may refer to:

NASP plays a crucial role in DNA replication, ensuring proper cell cycle progression and proliferation. It forms a complex with HSP90 and H1 linker histones in the cytoplasm, stimulating HSP90 ATPase activity. Subsequently, NASP and H1 histone are released from this complex and transported to the nucleus, where H1 histone is then available to bind DNA.

NASP is also known as FLB7527, HMDRA1, PRO1999.
