MFAP1
Description
The MFAP1 (microfibril associated protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.
Microfibrillar-associated protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MFAP1 gene.
MFAP1 plays a role in the process of pre-mRNA splicing, acting as a component of the spliceosome.
MFAP1 is also known as AMP.
