Description

The SSR3 (signal sequence receptor subunit 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

SSR3, also known as TRAP-gamma, is a component of the TRAP complex. This complex binds calcium to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane, which regulates the retention of proteins within the ER.

SSR3 is also known as TRAPG.
