MAGOHB
Description
The MAGOHB (mago homolog B, exon junction complex subunit) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.
MAGOHB is essential for the process of pre-mRNA splicing, acting as a component of the spliceosome. It plays a backup role to MAGOH in the exon junction complex (EJC) and the nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) pathway.
MAGOHB is also known as MGN2, mago, magoh.
