LY6D

Description

The LY6D (lymphocyte antigen 6 family member D) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

LY6D may act as a marker that helps determine the early development path of lymphocytes, specifically identifying the earliest stage where they decide to become either B-cells or T-cells. It also marks the very first stage of B-cell development.

LY6D is also known as E48, Ly-6D.
