LSM12

Description

The LSM12 (LSM12 homolog) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

LSM12 is a protein that binds to nicotinic acid adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NAADP). It acts as an accessory protein for the two pore channel complex (TPCs), enabling them to respond to NAADP and release calcium ions. This process is essential for various cellular functions.

LSM12 is also known as PNAS-135.
