LRRC41

Description

The LRRC41 (leucine rich repeat containing 41) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 41 is a protein found in humans and is encoded by the LRRC41 gene.

LRRC41 acts as a substrate recognition component within an ECS (Elongin BC-CUL2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex is responsible for tagging target proteins with ubiquitin, marking them for degradation by the proteasome.

LRRC41 is also known as MUF1, PP7759.
