LRRC24
Description
The LRRC24 (leucine rich repeat containing 24) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.
LRRC24, encoded by the LRRC24 gene on human chromosome 8, is a transmembrane protein belonging to the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) superfamily. It consists of 513 amino acids, including a signal peptide, and has a molecular weight of 52.9 kDa. The protein is primarily composed of alpha helices.
The function of LRRC24 is currently unknown.
LRRC24 is also known as LRRC14OS.
