Description

The LRIG3 (leucine rich repeats and immunoglobulin like domains 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

LRIG3 might be involved in the development of the face and inner ear during embryonic stages. It could play a role in shaping the lateral semicircular canal within the inner ear by regulating the expression of NTN1.

LRIG3 is also known as LIG3.
