LRIG1

Description

The LRIG1 (leucine rich repeats and immunoglobulin like domains 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

LRIG1 (Leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin-like domains protein 1) is a protein encoded by the LRIG1 gene in humans.

LRIG1 acts as a negative regulator of receptor tyrosine kinase signaling. It achieves this by promoting the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of these receptors, effectively dampening their signaling activity.

LRIG1 is also known as LIG-1, LIG1.
