Description
Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) is a general term encompassing various conditions that affect the lungs and airway and cause difficulty breathing. Loc81691 is one such respiratory disorder characterized by chronic inflammation and narrowing of the small airways (bronchioles), leading to airflow obstruction.
This condition, also known as chronic obstructive bronchiolitis (COB), is usually a sequel to severe bronchiolitis, a lung infection in infants. However, it can also develop after other respiratory infections or from prolonged exposure to environmental irritants, such as tobacco smoke or air pollution.
