Description:
Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that affects the gastrointestinal tract. It can cause inflammation and damage anywhere from the mouth to the anus, but it most commonly affects the last part of the small intestine (ileum) and the first part of the large intestine (colon). Crohn's disease can be a chronic condition, and symptoms can range from mild to severe.

- Other IBDs: Ulcerative colitis and microscopic colitis
- Autoimmune diseases: Ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus
- Skin disorders: Psoriasis, eczema, and pyoderma gangrenosum
- Eye conditions: Uveitis and scleritis
- Liver disease: Primary sclerosing cholangitis
