LMO7

Description

The LMO7 (LIM domain 7) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

The LMO7 gene encodes a protein containing several domains, including a calponin homology (CH) domain, a PDZ domain, and a LIM domain. Some variants also include an F-box (FBX) domain. The LIM domain is a cysteine-rich zinc-binding domain found in proteins involved in various cellular processes. The F-box domain is associated with protein-protein interactions. This protein may also be involved in protein-protein interactions. Multiple alternative splice variants have been described, but their full-length sequences have not been determined.

LMO7 is also known as FBX20, FBXO20, LMO7b, LOMP.
