KNDC1

Description

The KNDC1 (kinase non-catalytic C-lobe domain containing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

KNDC1 acts as a RAS-Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) and plays a role in regulating neuronal dendrite growth. It mediates a signaling pathway that connects RAS and MAP2, ultimately suppressing dendrite growth. Additionally, KNDC1 might be involved in cellular senescence.

KNDC1 is also known as C10orf23, RASGEF2, Very-KIND, bB439H18.3, v-KIND.
