KLC4

Description

The KLC4 (kinesin light chain 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

KLC4 is a human gene that encodes a protein called Kinesin light chain 4.

Kinesin, a microtubule-associated protein, generates force for organelle transport. The light chain, KLC4, may play a role in attaching cargo to the heavy chain or in regulating its ATPase activity.

KLC4 is also known as KNSL8, bA387M24.3.
