The KCNV1 (potassium voltage-gated channel modifier subfamily V member 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

The KCNV1 gene in humans encodes a protein called Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily V member 1. This protein is a subunit of a voltage-gated potassium channel. Variations in the KCNV1 gene have been linked to schizophrenia.

KCNV1 is also known as HNKA, KCNB3, KV2.3, KV8.1.
