KANSL2
Description
The KANSL2 (KAT8 regulatory NSL complex subunit 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.
KANSL2 plays a crucial role in regulating gene transcription by contributing to the acetylation of histone H4 within nucleosomes. This acetylation process, which occurs on multiple lysine residues, is believed to be essential for the proper control of gene expression.
KANSL2 is also known as C12orf41, NSL2.
