DNAI2

Description

The DNAI2 (dynein axonemal intermediate chain 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

DNAI2, or Dynein axonemal intermediate chain 2, is a protein encoded by the DNAI2 gene in humans. It belongs to the dynein intermediate chain family and is part of the dynein complex found in respiratory cilia and sperm flagella. Mutations in the DNAI2 gene are linked to primary ciliary dyskinesia.

DNAI2 is a component of the dynein complex found in respiratory cilia.

DNAI2 is also known as CILD9, DIC2, oda6.
