The IL16 (interleukin 16) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15.

IL-16 or IL 16 can refer to:

Interleukin-16 (IL-16) plays a role in immune cell movement by attracting CD4+ lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils. It also enhances the responsiveness of CD4+ T-cells to IL-2 and IL-15, and increases the expression of interleukin 2 receptors on T-lymphocytes. IL-16 directly interacts with CD4.

IL16 is also known as LCF, NIL16, PRIL16, prIL-16.
