IBTK

Description

The IBTK (inhibitor of Bruton tyrosine kinase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

IBTK inhibits BTK tyrosine kinase activity, which is crucial for B-cell development. It downregulates BTK kinase activity, interfering with calcium mobilization and NF-kappa-B-driven transcription mediated by BTK.

IBTK is also known as BTBD26, BTKI.
