HDGF
Description
The HDGF (heparin binding growth factor) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.
HDGF can refer to Hepatoma-derived growth factor, a protein with diverse functions, including transcriptional repression, mitogenic activity, and heparin binding.
Isoform 1 acts as a transcriptional repressor, exhibits mitogenic activity towards fibroblasts, and binds heparin.
HDGF is also known as HMG1L2.
