HAUS1

Description

The HAUS1 (HAUS augmin like complex subunit 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 18.

HAUS augmin-like complex subunit 1 is a protein encoded by the HAUS1 gene in humans. It is involved in the assembly of the mitotic spindle, the maintenance of centrosome integrity and the completion of cytokinesis as part of the HAUS augmin-like complex.

HAUS1 plays a critical role in the mitotic spindle assembly, maintenance of centrosome integrity and completion of cytokinesis. It achieves this as part of the HAUS augmin-like complex.

HAUS1 is also known as CCDC5, HEI-C, HEIC, HsT1461.
