Description

The GIMAP4 (GTPase, IMAP family member 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

GIMAP4 is a human gene encoding an enzyme belonging to the GTP-binding superfamily and the immuno-associated nucleotide (IAN) subfamily. This protein may be negatively regulated by TAL1. The IAN subfamily genes are located in a cluster at 7q36.1.

GIMAP4 is also known as IAN-1, IAN1, IMAP4, MSTP062.
