Description

The GIGYF1 (GRB10 interacting GYF protein 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

GIGYF1 is believed to work together with GRB10 in regulating the signaling pathways of tyrosine kinase receptors. It may enhance the phosphorylation of IGF1 receptor, IRS1, and SHC1 when stimulated by IGF1.

GIGYF1 is also known as GYF1, PERQ1.
