FRAT2

Description

The FRAT2 (FRAT regulator of WNT signaling pathway 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

FRAT2 is a protein encoded by the FRAT2 gene in humans. It belongs to the GSK-3-binding protein family and plays a role as a positive regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. Studies suggest that it may be upregulated in tumor progression.

FRAT2 positively regulates the Wnt signaling pathway by stabilizing beta-catenin through its association with GSK-3.

FRAT2 is also known as FRAT-2.
