FMOD
Description
The FMOD (fibromodulin) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.
FMOD is a proprietary sound effects engine and authoring tool developed by Firelight Technologies for video games and applications. It plays and mixes various audio formats across multiple operating systems. FMOD provides an API and authoring tool for programmers. It includes FMOD Studio, a tool for audio creation, and two APIs: a run-time API for interfacing with FMOD Studio and a low-level API with a simple interface for basic sound playback and effects. Legacy products include FMOD Ex, a sound playback and mixing engine; FMOD Designer 2010, a tool for authoring complex sound events and music; and FMOD Event Player, an auditioning tool for FMOD Designer 2010.
