FBXL6

Description

The FBXL6 (F-box and leucine rich repeat protein 6) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

FBXL6 is a key component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, acting as a substrate recognition module. This complex is responsible for tagging proteins with ubiquitin, marking them for degradation.

FBXL6 is also known as FBL6, FBL6A, PP14630.
