EVL
Description
The EVL (Enah/Vasp-like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.
EVL may refer to the human gene EVL, which encodes the Ena/VASP-like protein.
EVL, an Ena/VASP protein, plays a critical role in cytoskeletal remodeling and cell polarity. It enhances actin nucleation and polymerization, contributing to processes like axon guidance and the dynamic formation of lamellipodia and filopodia in migrating cells.
EVL is also known as RNB6.
