EVI5

Description

The EVI5 (ecotropic viral integration site 5) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

Ecotropic viral integration site 5 protein homolog is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EVI5 gene.

EVI5 acts as a cell cycle regulator by stabilizing the FBXO5 protein and boosting cyclin-A levels during the interphase. It may also contribute to cytokinesis.

EVI5 is also known as EVI-5, NB4S.
