ETS2

Description

The ETS2 (ETS proto-oncogene 2, transcription factor) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 21.

ETS2 is a protein encoded by the ETS2 gene in humans. It belongs to the ETS family of transcription factors and plays a key role in the development of inflammatory bowel disease. ETS2 has been shown to interact with other proteins and has been linked to diseases including Takayasu's arteritis, inflammatory bowel disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis, and ankylosing spondylitis, all associated with a region on chromosome 21 at 21q22.

ETS2 is also known as ETS2IT1.
